This is the second candle for K9 Axe. Inspired by K9 Axe from the Waterloo Police Department K9 Unit in Waterloo, Iowa. Axe is assigned to the Violent Crime Apprehension Team. K9 Axe is trained in Narcotic Detection, Tracking, Patrol (apprehension & handler protection)  and Article Search. K9 Axe won Narcotics Detection Case of the Year in 2018 and Top Rookie Dog in 2019.

K9 Axe is the Partner of Sergeant  J. Ehlers. When K9 Axe is not working, he loves playing with his Kong Bone and his Tug is his Pride and Joy. We personally think it is his cuddles with his Mom that is the Best Part of his day! It does not take long to see from their Instagram, @K9-Axe   , Axe may be Dad's Partner but he is definitely a Mama's Boy. Axe's Mom is Officer A. Ehlers also with the Waterloo Police Department.  It is because of this unique family bond, Fox + Hound is excited to collaborate with this team and donating a portion of the proceeds to the Fox + Hound K9 Foundation from each candle sold!
